“Flesh crocodile”

Giant prehistoric crocodile, living in shallow tropical freshwaters. By moving its eyeballs up and down, it could observe its nearby pray from under water. Like today’s crocodiles, it had diverse vocalization, which could have been useful in territoriality or courtship. The animal's back was covered with overlapping bony scales, the largest of them reached 1 meter!
