Tyrannosaurus rex

It lived in today’s North America before the Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event, 68.5–66 mya. It was a bipedal carnivore, with a massive skull balanced by a long, heavy tail. It was the largest species among the Tyrannosauridae family. Its length was 12 m, the hip height was 3 m and the weight was 9 to 14 t.
