Way of life: They lived in pairs and cared for their offspring. They were warm-blooded, so that they were provided with energy needed for flight. They did not have teeth, their diet mainly consisted of fish.

Dimensions of the exhibited specimen: The length of the head from the tip of the beak to the end of the bone crest on the head is 52 cm. Its body length from the tip of its beak to the end of its legs in flight is 160 cm. Its wingspan is 294 cm.
