Bone war

1877–1895: Bone war
Otheniel Charles Marsh (1831-1899) (left) and Edward Drinker Cope (1840-1897) (right) took part in the so-called bone war which resulted the founding of almost 150 new dinosaur species. Their early friendship has rallied into rivalry. Sometimes one scientist's digging troop threw stones at the other team.
