Not just pharaohs
Ernst Freiherr Stromer von Reichenbach (1871-1952), German paleontologistpalaeontologist, described many creatures on an Egyptian expedition, including Spinosaurus aegypticus, which is the largest Theropoda so far and Stomatosuchus giant crocodile. Unfortunately, the remains of the latter were destroyed in a 1944 bombing.
