Feathered dinosaurs
Liaoning which is located in China is a remarkable fossil site. The first dinosaur fossils were uncovered here in the early 90s, but since then, many other finds (insect, fish, dinosaurs, birds, amphibians, mammals) were discovered. Synosauropteryx was found here, in 1996. On this fossil clear sign of feathers is visible. In 2010, the colour of the Sinosauropteryx is successfully determined as well, and further refined in 2017.
