The small, manuscript parchment prayer book contains the prayers that are to be recited during the ritual cleaning and customizing of the deceased women. Along with dead women, this was performed by other women, including the recitation of the required prayers. This prayer book was made for Henle, the widow of Johanan Elzasz in Frankfurt am Main.
