1969

56 × 76 cm
Material/Technique
lithograph on paper (AP)

'New Butterflies are made of dust and color, but we
are planted in the ground like broken bones to replace ourselves.
Somewhere in storm and darkness, waves lap newborn islands
like the lioness licks her cubs.
Words take their first steps on the darkness of white pages
where there are no shadows, no depths, no distances
until something utterly new is born co-ordinate with Aurora Borealis'
