As for the date of construction of the mansion - the birthplace of Mihály Zichy - which is under monumental protection, sources mention several dates: the 1820s, 1830s and the second half of the 19th century. It was certainly built in several periods, the first building being extended in 1880 with the addition of a studio. Its park is a nature reserve.
